Jennifer Lawrence allegedly threw up while watching 1984 on Broadway, and the play’s star Olivia Wilde had a brilliant reaction to the reports.
“Midway through the show, Jennifer Lawrence bolted from her seat,” a source told Page Six. “Several people saw her getting sick in the lobby. The ushers were very helpful and courteous in helping her out.”
The production of George Orwell’s famous novel is said to be extremely intense, but that wasn’t the reason for the Oscar winner getting ill.
“She caught the stomach flu from her nephews,” the insider explained, adding that Jennifer is “really sick”.
As long as I have a play, Jennifer Lawrence has a place to puke. 🙌#honored #getwellsoon #iloveyou #1984onBarfway #spewbagsnotincluded

After reading the reports, Olivia shared a sweet and funny message to her fellow actress via Twitter.
“As long as I have a play, Jennifer Lawrence has a place to puke,” she wrote. “

The play, which opened last month and runs until October, has in fact caused many audience members to become ill, and Olivia tweeted a warning back in May.
“Sending my love to those 4 people who fainted in the audience,” she shared. “Warning: this is not your grandma’s Broadway.”
