Shay Mitchell has hit back at mom shamers on social media, after she was criticised for attending Drake’s birthday party not long after welcoming her first child.
Earlier this month, the Pretty Little Liars star announced the birth of her baby girl on Instagram – but she never confirmed her daughter’s actual birthday.
Just days after announcing her daughter’s arrival, Shay and her partner Matte Babel were spotted out at Drake’s star-studded 33rd birthday party in LA.
Clearly some people weren’t happy about Shay and Matte’s outing, as she started receiving some nasty comments on social media.
One of the comments read, “This girl really left her 3 day old baby to go to a party…mom of the year!!!”
Responding to the critics on Instagram today, Shay shared a video of her scrolling through the comments, and said:Â “Apparently people are really upset that I left three days after having a kid to go out and party.”
“It wasn’t three days and I left her with Angel, so…” Shay joked, referencing her rescue dog.
