Reports have claimed that rapper Juice WRLD was administered narcotic revive drug Narcan before his death
A statement by Associated Press said that a Chicago Fire Department spokesman confirmed that a man died following a “medical emergency” in a private airline hanger.
The Guardian reports that federal agents were present when the rapper’s plane landed at the airport to search it for illegal firearms and drugs.
According to their report, the rapper reportedly suffered a seizure while the luggage aboard the aircraft he and his entourage were travelling on was being searched.
A federal agent allegedly administered Narcan to the rapper in a bid to revive him.
He is said to have briefly regained consciousness following the treatment.
Narcan is known as an opioid antagonist, blocking the effects drugs such as heroin, morphine, and oxycodone, and is commonly used to treat those who are overdosing from such drugs.
There is no evidence to suggest that the rapper used any of the drugs commonly associated with Narcan treatment.
The coroner is awaiting toxicology results in relation to the death.
Juice WRLD turned 21 mere days before his death. Fans have speculated that the rapper predicted his own death.
