Netflix have finally cast their new Sabrina The Teenage Witch – and you’ll love her

Netflix have revealed that they have cast Sabrina Spellman for their upcoming series The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Kiernan Shipka has landed the role. You might know her from Mad Men and The Blackcoat’s Daughter.

Kiernan is all grown up from her Mad Men days, and is ready to take on the role for the highly anticipated show.

Salem the cat, a boyfriend called Harvey and the Spellman sisters will all return but that’s as far as the similiarities go with the light-hearted sitcom we grew up watching.

Shipka’s role will feature in an adaptation of the recent horror comic The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Netflix have called the show “a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft.”
