Natalie Portman has opened up about her ‘feud’ with Jessica Simpson.
The actress sparked controversy earlier this month when she said she was “confused” after seeing a snap of Jessica in a bikini beside the headline “I’m a virgin” when they were teenagers.
The singer hit out at Natalie’s comments and said she was “disappointed”, before the star apologised in a statement.

The pair haven’t actually spoken to each other about the controversy though, as Natalie was asked about the drama by a fan on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
The 37-year-old still insisted that there is no bad blood between her and singer: “‘I have only respect and good feelings for her.”
“I think there’s no need for “beef” between women. We’re all in the same society and living with the same pressures and we’re allies.”
Natalie’s comments come after Jessica’s sister, Ashlee, also spoke out about the feud and told E! News: “I mean, I was so proud of my sister. She’s definitely a strong woman and she definitely stands up for herself.”
