Model and social media maverick Iskra Lawrence has announced that she is expecting her first child.
However, the curve model’s happy news has been marred with backlash, as she has faced trolling since sharing her big news with the world.
Iskra announced her pregnancy by sharing a sponsored content post to her Instagram, along with a competition.
The post is an ad for a pregnancy test company.
“It’s not just the two of us anymore, we’re soon to be a family of 3,” she wrote.
“We were so shocked when we saw those two lines and we knew for sure we were having a baby.”
“Right now we’re 17 weeks and 3 days pregnant! And I can’t wait to share with you what these last 4 months have been like.”
“I’ve never been more excited to meet anyone, and Philip and I are in love with our mini baby P bump.”
Iskra went on to explain how lucky she feels to be expecting, as she is aware that many women have difficulty conceiving.
The model pledged to donate ten thousand dollars to a fan to support them on their pregnancy journey.

However, many followers took issue with the model capitalizing her pregnancy announcement to plug a brand.
“Did you announce your pregnancy. By doing a advert” one wrote.
“This b*tch Iskra Lawrence announced she’s pregnant through an ad” trolled another.
Despite the trolling, Iskra’s fans and supporters have been sharing messages of celebration for the model.
