Miranda Kerr has reacted to the birth of Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s daughter.
The model was married to Orlando for three years and they continue to co-parent their 9-year-old son Flynn together.
The 37-year-old showed that she remained supportive of her ex-husband’s new relationship with his fiancé Katy Perry, after they announced that they had welcomed their first child together on Thursday.
Commenting on both Katy and Orlando’s Instagram posts about their new daughter Daisy Dove Bloom, Miranda wrote: “????????????????I’m so happy for you guys.”
“Can’t wait to meet her ????????????????,” she added.
Meanwhile Katy and Orlando said they are “floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter”, as they announced the news via the Instagram for UNICEF – the organisation they serve as Goodwill Ambassadors for.
The Hollywood stars also shared an important message alongside the news: “But we know we’re the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was.
“Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every eleven seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes. Since COVID-19 many more newborn lives are at risk because of the increased lack of access to water, soap, vaccines and medicines that prevent diseases.”
“As parents to a newborn, this breaks our hearts, as we empathize with struggling parents now more than ever.
“As UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors, we know UNICEF is there, on the ground, doing whatever it takes to make sure every expecting mother has access to a trained health worker and access to quality healthcare.

It appears Katy hinted at her newborn’s name long before giving birth – as she released a song entitled Daisies back in May.
Daisies is from Katy’s latest album Smile, which also features the track Never Worn White – which she announced her pregnancy in the music video for by showcasing her baby bump.
Katy and Orlando got engaged on Valentine’s Day last year, and announced their pregnancy over a year late in March.
