Miley Cyrus has responded to pregnancy rumours, as she heavily referenced the viral egg that beat Kylie Jenner’s Instagram record of having the most-liked photo on the social media platform.
Just weeks after she tied the knot with long-time partner, Liam Hemsworth, speculation arose that the couple were expecting their first child.
Several media publications reported that Miley was pregnant, as a photo of her wearing an oversized shirt in Miami started circulating online.
The 26-year-old has now shut down the rumours with a hilarious tweet about the viral egg: “I’m not “Egg-xpecting” but it’s “Egg-celent” to hear everyone is so “ Happy For Us” …. we’re happy for us too!”

The star even shared the photo of herself that sparked the rumours, as she covered her stomach with a picture of an egg, along with a snap of her sticking her tongue out.
Miley and Liam wed on 23rd of December, and although they enforced a strong ‘no photos’ rule as they wanted to keep their wedding private, one of Liam’s friends shared photos from their big day on Instagram and leaked the news.
