There is a Michael Jackson biopic in preproduction.

The TV movie, produced by American company Lifetime, will detail the singer’s final days.

The film is tentatively titled Michael Jackson: Searching For Neverland and is based off of the book Remember The Time: Protecting Michael Jackson In His Final Days.

Like the book, the film will be told through the eyes of the late musician’s bodyguards.

Starring as Michael will be professional Michael Jackson impersonator Navi, who is famed to be the best in the industry.

The English star has travelled the world with to perform but this will be his first acting role.

The news comes after Michael’s daughter Paris Jackson revealed her disgust at the Sky Art’s show Urban Myths who hired white actor Joseph Fiennes to play her father.

After she admitted how offended she was by her father’s portrayal, the episode featuring Michael was axed.
