Mel B has been forced to pay almost £500,000 in “spousal support” and legal fees in her divorce from Stephen Belafonte.
According to the Mirror, new documents show that Mel must pay her ex £11,160 a month for three years, despite her claiming that abused her during their marriage.
The amount adds up to £401,760 over the three years, however, she’s also been ordered to pay his £150,000 legal bill.
A source said, “After all the abuse Mel claims she suffered at Stephen’s hands it is a bitter pill she is swallowing right now.
“Handing over money to the man she alleges drove her to try to take her own life is quite incredible.”
The 42-year-old producer has vehemently denied Mel’s abuse allegations.
