A man has reportedly been arrested at Rihanna’s home for trespassing on the property with the intention of proposing to her.
A spokesman for the LAPD confirmed to Page Six that the incident had occurred at her Beverly Hills address at around 12.30pm on Thursday.
According to TMZ, the unnamed man travelled from South Carolina to propose to the Barbados born singer.
Rihanna’s team are said to have called the police right away, and the unnamed man was escorted off the property in handcuffs.
As he didn’t make it further than the singer’s driveway, he was questioned and later released.
It’s unclear whether the mum-of-one was home at the time of the incident.
The news comes just weeks after Rihanna confirmed she’s expecting her second child with her beau A$AP Rocky, as she debuted her baby bump during her epic Halftime performance.
The couple welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, on May 13 last year; however they have not yet revealed his name.
Rihanna and A$AP, whose real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers, were first linked in 2020.
The couple finally confirmed their romance in May 2021, with A$AP gushing about his girlfriend in an interview with GQ magazine, in which he said: “The love of my life. My lady. [Relationships are] so much better when you got the One. She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones. I think when you know, you know. She’s the One.”
