Madison Beer has spoken out about Jack Gilinsky’s verbal abuse.
The singer’s ex-boyfriend could be heard calling her a “f***ing slut”, “little slut” and a “b****” in audio from last year that leaked online over the weekend.
Jack has since apologised for his actions, calling his words “terrible and unforgivable”.

And Madison broke her silence on Tuesday by releasing a statement on Twitter, but oddly deleted the tweet a short time later.
“Many of you [have been] asking me ‘Why would you stay with him if it happened last year!’” she wrote. “My theory was, and as horrible as this is, is that if I left him, he’d do it to the next girl. I tried to fix him.”
Madison explained that she and Jack “have both grown and changed so much”, adding that it has been “extremely difficult” dealing with the abuse in the first place, let alone having to “relive” it.
“I hope ALL my fans learn from my foolishness,” she wrote. “If someone is mistreating you in ANY way please speak up.

“It is NEVER okay and I was blinded by love and much too afraid to come out and say anything in fear I would be broken up with / not taken seriously by someone I told. SPEAK UP. Don’t make the same mistakes I did, your safety is never worth it.”
Madison added: “No matter what, no one deserves to be treated that way. You deserve the world and respect from EVERYONE and ANYONE. Be strong and thank you again.”
Jack issued an apology after the shocking audio file was leaked over the weekend, and confirmed he and Madison are no longer together.
