LISTEN: Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda releases new music after death of Chester Bennington

Linkin Park star Mike Shinoda has released music for the first time since Chester Bennington’s death.

The front man died of suicide in July last year, with the band later organising a tribute concert in the Hollywood Bowl.

While the singer has posted tributes to Chester, he has no released three new songs, mainly about the aftermath of his death.

Take a look:

In his song “place to start”, Mike played some voicemails he received after Chester’s death, asking how he was.

And in Over Again, Mike speaks about their farewell gig for Chester, admitting he felt like throwing up before going on stage.
