Lindsay Lohan has revealed that she is releasing an album of brand new music.
The 33-year-old’s musical comeback was leaked with the release of the first single of her album, called Xanax.
She revealed that she wrote the album with her friend musician Patrick James while she was in Australia working on a TV show.
“I was writing music with a friend of mine when I was there.”
“We were writing on a few days I had off.”
“I think the thing with the music I have been doing recently now, I feel like if it is a sad word for the song, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a sad song.”
Lindsay explained that she wants the songs to be “upbeat” and “honest.”
It is not the actress’ first foray into the music industry. She previously released two albums in the early 2000s.
