Liam Hemsworth has officially filed for divorce from wife Miley Cyrus.
The couple qnnounced they were splitting just 11 days ago.
The Hunger Games star filed a petition for divorce, after 7 months of marriage.
The 29-year-old cited “irreconcilable differences” in paperwork filed on Wednesday in LA.
The famous cuple had a prenup so their individual earnings during the marriage will remain separate.
Just hours after Miley confirmed their marriage was over, the singer was photographed kissing Kaitlynn Carter – the recent ex of Brody Jenner.
Since then rumours have been swirling to what led to the split.
The pair have faced rumours of infidelity and drug use – with neither party commenting officially.
Friends of Liam’s had said Miley “went back to her old partying ways as soon as they got married”.
Days later there were accusations of infidelity and out of control partying coming from both sides.
Friends of Miley’s told TMZ that she tried to save the marriage but couldn’t accept Liam’s “drinking” and “using certain drugs” .
The divorce petition states the pair wed on December 23rd in 2018 and said the date of separation is ‘TBD’.
