Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff have broken up after five years together.
E! News has reported that the pair, who started dating in 2012, decided to part ways in December.
An insider said, “It was mutual. Jack and Lena were growing apart and it just made sense for them to end their relationship where it was.”
“They want the best for each other no matter what. They are both moving on.”
A rep for both Lena and Jack have also confirmed the split to E! News.
The news will come as a surprise, as Lena had previously described Jack as her “life partner”.
The pair started dating after they were set up on a blind date in 2012.
