Lady Gaga shouted out her ex-boyfriend, Taylor Kinney, at a campaign rally for Joe Biden on Monday night.
The songstress made an appearance at Joe’s final campaign rally in Pennsylvania to perform some of her hit songs, and briefly spoke about her relationship with Taylor – who is from the area.
Before she started singing ‘You and I’, Gaga said: “Did you all know I used to live here in Lancaster, Pennsylvania? Listen, anybody here from Lancaster?”
“Well, I was engaged to a man from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I know, I know. It didn’t work out. I loved him so much. It just did not work out.”
“But I still love my Pennsylvania guy. I love Joe! So Joe’s my new Pennsylvania guy. And I love nothing more than this moment, for this time, for you and I!”
Gaga dated the Hollywood actor for five years, before they called it quits in 2016.
The former couple met back in 2011, on the set of the her ‘You and I’ music video.
Before she finished the song, Gaga apologised to her current boyfriend, Michael Polansky, for speaking about her ex.
She said: “To my boyfriend that’s here tonight, I’m so sorry I had to do the whole ‘Pennsylvania, and I dated a guy here’ thing. I love you so much, but it’s true.”
