Lady Gaga has taken to Twitter to apologise to Rick Genest’s family.
Rick, A.K.A Zombie Boy, was found dead in his home in Montreal last week.
The official cause of death has not been determined yet, but Lady Gaga tweeted that the model had committed suicide – and urged fans to speak to someone if they are feeling down.
The tweet has since been deleted, and the singer took to Twitter again to apologise to the artist’s family for assuming his cause of death.
Out of respect for Rick’s family, Rick & his legacy I apologize if I spoke too soon as there was no witnesses or evidence to support any conclusion for the cause of his death. I in no way meant to draw an unjust conclusion My deepest condolences to his entire family and friends. pic.twitter.com/CJ9AdOJ22j
