Kylie Jenner denies suing t-shirt company over use of ‘Rise n Shine’ lyrics

Kylie Jenner has denied rumours that she is suing a T-shirt company which creates designs that say “rise and shine.”

The star was rumoured to have sent a cease and desist letter to the company, who have used the slogan since 2017, after she moved to file a trademark for the saying’s use in merchandise.

The company, called CASED clothing, have also denied receiving any notice of legal action from the reality star.

“Guys, please don’t believe everything you read. I have not sent any Rise and Shine cease and desist letters,” Kylie tweeted.

“Rise and Shine was an unexpected moment…”

“I had a lot of fun with it, and I have laughed so hard seeing everyone’s memes since the video came out a few weeks ago.”

“KYLIE HAS NOT SENT US ANY LETTERS,” CASED Clothing wrote on Instagram.

“We are not being sued.”

“All Kardashian/Jenner “hate” comments will be deleted. We do not agree with bringing people down.”

The rumours began after an alleged screenshot from an unknown article began circulating on social media, which claimed to contain quotes from the company saying they did not have the funds to fight legal action from the Kar-Jenner.

“There are no lawsuits, no cease and desist letters,” Kylie tweeted in response.
