Kris Jenner has acknowledged claims that Kim Kardashian’s sex tape made their family famous.

On a new episode of OBJECTified on Fox News, the Kardashian matriarch was asked how her family coped when her daughter’s infamous sex tape with Ray J came out.

The momager was also asked if she believed it was why the Kardashian family shot to fame with their E! reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

In an attempt to skirt the question, Kris said, “You know I can’t control what other people say and obviously that was a hard thing to go through.”

She continued, “The thing I learned from that is that you can get through anything as a family. That was obviously a real hard time for any mom, it was devastating.”

Just weeks after Kim’s raunchy tape with Ray J was released, the Kardashian family signed on to film a reality show with Ryan Seacrest’s production company.

Ever since, fans have speculated that Kris was behind the sex tape leak, but of course, Kim’s mother has firmly denied the speculation.

Kris’ appearance on OBJECTified airs Sunday night on Fox News.
