Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have taken a major step in their new romance.
The KUWTK star went Instagram official with her musician beau last month, and have been spotted out on numerous dates in recent weeks.
Taking to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Travis shared a sweet note he received from Kourtney, where she dropped the L-bomb.
Speaking about the couple’s relationship, a source told E! News: “He is a great boyfriend and really treats her well. He showers her with gifts and compliments.”
“She’s enjoying it. It’s very easy to date him because they have known each other for so long. He was always into her and it finally happened.”
“They have a great foundation from being friends for so long. They have fun together. Their kids like each other and it’s working for now. She’s loving the attention and having Travis in her life in this new way.”
During a candid chat on The Drew Barrymore Show earlier this month, Travis called Kourtney “a great mom”, as he explained the importance of dating someone who also has kids.
The Blink-182 drummer said: “Up until now I would date girls that didn’t have kids and I find it kind of hard because I think they would have trouble understanding, like, ‘Well, why don’t you want to go to dinner every night with me?’ or ‘Why don’t you want to see me every night?’”
“Now I am spending time with a woman who is a great mom, who is a great friend, and you don’t have to worry about any of those things. It just comes naturally, it’s like a maturity thing.”
“I also really like missing someone and cherishing the time I spend with them instead of every day being with them. Especially in the beginning of the relationship, I think missing someone is so important,” he added.
Kourtney shares three children with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick – Mason, 11, Penelope, 8, and Reign, 6.
Travis also shares three kids with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler – Alabama, 15, Landon, 17, and his stepdaughter Atiana, 21.
