Kim Kardashian’s personal trainer defends her physique after Met Gala look draws criticism

People can't get over how small her waist looked

Kim Kardashian’s personal trainer has been forced to defend the reality star’s physique, after her Met Gala look drew criticism last night.

The mother-of-three rocked up to the Met in a figure-hugging design by Manfred Thierry Mugler – his first design in 20 years.

Adorned with crystal droplets, Kim looked like she came straight out of the ocean as she posed on the pink carpet, but some were left concerned by how small her waist appeared.

After some people started questioning whether Kim had manipulating her waist to fit into the gown, her personal trainer Melisa Alcantara took to Instagram to defend her.

She wrote: “To make things clear. 1. This dress is corseted BUT 2. Kim trains her ass off 6 days a f**king week, she wakes up early AF and is dedicated.”

“3. I paved the road for her but SHE did the work! MOST IMPORTANTLY I don’t give s**t about your opinions on her body, if you think [it’s] fake or not!”

“I see her every morning, I see her train and I see her sweat and I see all the work she does outside the gym and THAT is commendable!”

On the pink carpet, Kim told E! that her dress was “eight months in the making”.

She said: “This is the first time in 20 years that Mr. Mugler has designed for the House of Thierry Mugler. He hasn’t designed in 20 years, so to come and design this gown for me is such an honour.

“He just envisioned me this California girl stepping out of the ocean, on the red carpet, wet, dripping, that is the vibe tonight.”
