Kim Kardashian ‘shocked production staff’ by filming cameo in heist film Ocean’s 8

Ocean’s Eight already boasts an impressive cast of A-listers, but the film just got even more star-studded.

Kim Kardashian was spotted making her way to the set in New York City on Monday night to film a cameo appearance alongside sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

However, Kim’s appearance on set came as a shock to production staff working on the movie, as the film reportedly includes a jewellery heist, as a necklace is stolen from a museum bathroom.

Kim and Kendall showed up in matching sheer white lace gowns, and while Kylie was dressed down, she later shared a Snapchat video which showed her in a red ballgown.

A source told the New York Post’s Page Six, “We were surprised Kim showed up for filming.

“She had seemed totally traumatized by her Paris robbery. But then she’ll still appear in a movie that glamorizes a jewelry heist,” they added.

It’s likely that the reality stars will be starring in a Met Gala scene during the heist movie, which currently holds a release date of June 8th, 2018.

Little has been revealed about the plot of the film, however it is known that one scene will be set at fashion’s biggest night of the year, and US Vogue editor Anna Wintour will also be making a cameo appearance.

Last week Katie Holmes was seen on the set and it was revealed that James Corden has joined the cast as an insurance investigator who grows suspicious of the ladies’ heist plot.

Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter, Dakota Johnson and Mindy Kaling are all starring in the movie.

Sandra portrays the estranged sister of Danny Ocean, George Clooney’s ringleader character in the first three movies (Ocean’s Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen), which will connect the new film to the original trilogy.

Matt Damon, who starred in the original franchise, is also set to make an appearance in the Gary Ross-directed film, while Damian Lewis plays the villain.
