Kim Kardashian keeping her new Hidden Hills mansion ‘jewellery free’ after terrifying Paris robbery

The reality star wants to deter burglars from targeting her again

Kim Kardashian is reportedly keeping her new Hidden Hills mansion ‘jewellery free’, after she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris back in 2016.

According to TMZ, the 37-year-old has locked all her expensive jewellery in storage, which is said to be under constant supervision, to deter burglars from targeting her home in California.

It’s also been reported that Kim and Kanye have armed security on hand at their home at all times.

The KUWTK star finally moved into her luxury $20million mansion last month with husband Kanye West and children North, 4, and Saint, 2.

The pair bought the property for $20 million back in 2014, but it has since undergone extensive renovations.

The property is 16,000 square foot, and boasts eight-bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, and also includes the once-neighboring $2.9 million lot next door.

Kim’s need for high security is as a result of her being robbed at gunpoint during Paris Fashion Week in October 2016.

The thieves stole an estimated $10million worth of jewels, including her 20 carat engagement ring, and the heist was France’s biggest jewellery theft involving a private citizen in more than two decades.

Over 17 people were arrested in connection to the armed robbery, and ten people have been charged so far.
