Kim Kardashian has called out US space exploration agency NASA in a series of explosive tweets.
On Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim and her family discussed the Santa Susana Field Lab – a NASA laboratory which had a partial nuclear reactor meltdown 60 years ago.
“The timing of our Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode talking about Santa Susana is synergistic,” Kim said.
“NASA has agreed legally to pay for the clean up knowing this was their test sight where they would test rockets but is now trying to back out.”
NASA and the federal Department of Energy previously pledged to have the site safely cleared up by 2017.

The clean up has been delayed, and the KUWTK episode showed protesters rallying at the site.
“We received an outpouring of interest in the clean up of the Santa Susana Field Lab.”
“The moms fighting to protect their kids need your help.”
She continued: “NASA is attempting to break out of its cleanup agreement and leave most of its contamination not cleaned up. The public can weigh in on their plan by sending in comments to NASA by December 9.”
Kim has used her platform to take her gripe with NASA to the Oval Office.
