Khloe Kardashian has admitted that she hasn’t given up on marriage, despite her nasty split from Lamar Odom.
The reality star hasn’t been the luckiest in love – she divorced Lamar Odom in 2016, and only recently split from her baby daddy Tristan Thompson.
Despite this, the 34-year-old hasn’t given up on love, and is open to getting married again.
During an interview with Laura Wasser on her Divorce Sucks! podcast, Khloe was asked if she would ever consider getting married again, and she replied: “Yes.”
Reflecting on her divorce from Lamar, the mother-of-one said: “What I’ve learnt from my first ex-husband is that you’ll be OK. I really think you should go through your feelings.”
“[The divorce from] Lamar was so hard for me, it was the first time I had my heart broken and I put my all into my marriage.
“Me knowing I could survive that, I would rather experience those moments of greatness than never experience it. Life is about love, you’ll find someone again once you heal,” she added.
When asked if she still keeps in touch with Lamar, Khloe said: “Yeah, every now and then. There’s no bad blood, there’s no anything, it just didn’t work out. And I think he’s an incredible person and I just want the best for him.”
As for her love life now, Khloe said she’s not interesting in dating anyone at the moment.
She said: “I’m not even thinking about that, I don’t care to be on [dating apps].”
“I’m so in love with True. It sounds like the typical answer, but I’m working on myself – mind, body and soul. I don’t feel a sense of urgency to find someone or even go on a date.”
Elsewhere during the podcast, Khloe defended her decision to remain civil with her most recent ex Tristan, after he was caught kissing Jordyn Woods at a house party earlier this year.
Despite their nasty and very public breakup, Khloe has remained friendly with Tristan for the sake of their one-year-old daughter True.
Khloe said: “It does f***ing suck, it does. For me, Tristan and I broke up not too long ago, so it’s really raw.”
“And so those emotions could be heightened at times, but I do everything in my power, to not even… True is one and a month old, so she doesn’t really know what’s happening, but to me, she does know! And she feels energy, and I’m a big believer of that.”
“So I do everything in my power to not put any heavy energy around her. Maybe that sounds a little too bohemian to some people. ”
Discussing True’s first birthday last month, which Tristan attended, Khloe said: “I didn’t do it because I thought she was going to remember this first party.”
“But I know that she’s gonna want to look back at all of her childhood memories, like we all do. And I want to give her the same thing.”
“And I know her dad is a great person and I know how much he loves her and cares about her, so I want him to be there. And it was, you know, civilised and we did it,” she added.
During her interview, the KUWTK star also opened up about her relationship with her former stepdad Caitlyn Jenner.
