Khloe Kardashian is reportedly “extremely disappointed” that her relationship with Tristan Thompson “didn’t work out”.
The Good American founder and her NBA star beau recently rekindled their romance after growing closer during the lockdown but just last week, Page Six reported that they had split once again.
News of their split broke just hours after Mail Online reported that the basketball player was seen getting close to three women at a house party.
A source has since told E! News: “Khloe is extremely disappointed in how things have played out with Tristan.”
“She has spent so much time and energy on their relationship and was hopeful for the future. To see that Tristan hasn’t changed at all after all of this is truly heartbreaking.”
“She always had trust issues and wasn’t sure, but she wanted to be positive and see the good in him. She wanted nothing more than for True to have a happy family unit and she plans on still having that regardless of what Tristan does,” the insider added.
“Khloe has a huge support system of family and friends who have all rallied around her again,” the source continued. “Everyone knows how special Khloe is and that she deserves more.”
The couple are parents to a 3-year-old daughter named True, who the source said is Khloe’s main focus right now.
“She is putting on a happy face and focusing on True. She’s an amazing mom and always does what’s best for True. She will continue to co-parent with Tristan and try to see the good.”
“In the meantime, Khloe is spending time with family. She doesn’t know what the future holds and is taking one day at a time,” the insider added.
Khloe and Tristan first started dating back in 2016, but their relationship hit the rocks when the NBA star was accused of cheating – just days before Khloe gave birth to their daughter in April 2018.
The reality star controversially decided to stand by Tristan, but less than one year later, he was caught kissing family friend Jordyn Woods at a house party in February 2019.
A source recently told E! News that Khloe “will not go back to Tristan” this time, claiming that he has “lost all her trust”.
“They had been working through the cheating rumors for the last couple of weeks, but Khloe told Tristan he lost all of her trust and the relationship could not be repaired,” the insider explained.
“Khloe really tried, but ultimately, felt too betrayed by him. She’s done and says she will not go back. They have been co-parenting and have seen each other several times in the last week with True, but are not romantically together.”
