Justin Hartley’s daughter unfollows her ex-stepmother Chrishell Stause

Justin Hartley’s daughter Isabella has unfollowed her ex-stepmother Chrishell Stause, after the former couple’s divorce played out on the latest season of Selling Sunset.

The 43-year-old actor has faced backlash over how he allegedly “blindsided” Chrishell by brutally texting her that he had filed for divorce.

His 16-year-old appears to be siding with her father in the shocking split after unfollowing Chrishell on Instagram – with the real-estate agent returning the favour by also hitting the unfollow button.

During the new season of the hit show, Chrishell admitted to her co-star Amanza Smith that she wrote a letter to Isabella following the divorce.

“I love her so much, and I had to write a letter to her,” she revealed.

Isabella showed her support for her father by resharing her mother Lindsay Korman-Hartley’s post earlier this week, in which she called her ex-husband a “dear friend and devoted father”.

Taking to Instagram, Lindsay wrote: “In a day when social media should be used for positivity … an inspiration towards movement in an honest and deserving way, I’d like to join, by highlighting my appreciation for my family.”

“Today, I appreciate my ex-husband Justin for not only being [an] exemplification of a solid man but for being my dear friend and devoted father to our daughter,” she continued.

“Simply put; for being family. We derive our own opinion of people by experiencing life and time together, and we do our best to hold dear the ones that maintain consistent kindness, love and generosity.”

The actress added: “No matter what conflicts Justin and I had in the past, I appreciate what we have today and I am thankful for the family we have built.”

Justin and Lindsay co-starred on American soap opera Passions together, and were married from 2004 to 2012.

Chrishell and Justin tied the knot in October 2017, before Justin filed for divorce in November last year – with the shock split playing out in front of the cameras of the hit Netflix show.

The glamorous real-estate agent claimed that she was “blindsided” by her ex-husband, with the drama unfolding on the hit real-estate series.

“I’m just kind of in shock with it all. I’m trying to keep it together, but it’s just a lot all at once ’cause everybody in the whole world knows like at the same time that I knew,” Chrishell said in a confessional.

A source told Us Weekly that Justin’s friends were “glad” that Chrishell was “no longer in his life”.

“He is doing well right now, and while it’s been disappointing that he is being dragged into story lines on reality TV, he knew that he should expect this.”

The insider added: “Justin is a great, stand-up guy, and he wants to move on with his life in a classy way.”

“He’s irritated that she’s airing their private information publicly and knows there is more to the story than is being told,” a separate insider revealed.

“His close friends and family know what really happened, as does Chrishell, so ultimately it’s her choice of what is put out there.”
