Justin Bieber told Kanye West that he ‘needed to talk’ to his wife Kim Kardashian during Wyoming visit

The singer encouraged Kanye to stop "ghosting" his wife

Justin Bieber reportedly told Kanye West that he “needed to talk” to his wife Kim Kardashian, during a visit to his ranch in Wyoming last week.

The singer and his wife Hailey Bieber visited the rapper in Cody, Wyoming, on July 24 – amid reports Kanye was “refusing” to see Kim.

A source has since told PEOPLE that Justin was the one who encouraged Kanye to stop “ghosting” his wife.

The insider said: “Kanye ghosted Kim. She tried to reach him for days, but he wouldn’t answer calls and he wouldn’t answer texts.”

“Kanye didn’t want to face Kim. He doesn’t mind having a public spectacle but he avoids conflict when he’s like this. He knows he disappointed her and that kills him.”

The source said Justin then “told Kanye that he needed to talk to Kim… and Kanye finally texted Kim and they talked on the phone.”

The insider also noted that Justin is “beyond supportive” of Kanye’s mental health issues, as he understands his struggles.

The news comes after Kim was pictured returning home to Los Angeles, following her emotional reunion with Kanye in Wyoming on Monday.

In photos obtained by TMZ, the reality star was seen stepping off a private jet alone at an LA airport – just one day after she was spotted in tears while speaking to her husband.

A source told PEOPLE that the 39-year-old was “hysterically crying” during the reunion, adding that, “Kim hasn’t seen Kanye for weeks.”

Kim had been trying to fly out to Wyoming to speak with her husband ever since the rapper sparked concern at his presidential rally in South Carolina.

During the rally, the 43-year-old broke down in tears as he spoke about almost aborting their now 7-year-old daughter North.

Since then, Kanye has posted a number of shocking statements on Twitter, and he even accused Kim of trying to get him “locked up” – amid fears he’s in the middle of a bipolar episode.

The rapper also claimed he’s been “trying to get divorced” from Kim ever since she met Meek Mill back in 2018 to discuss prison reform, and he also appeared to slam his mother-in-law Kris Jenner.

Kanye later deleted the tweets, and a few hours later Kim released a statement addressing her husband’s recent behaviour.

In the statement, Kim opened up about her husband’s mental health – explaining how “incredibly complicated and painful” it can be to struggle with bipolar disorder.

The mother-of-four also asked the public to show her family “compassion” during such a difficult time.

Around the same time of Kim’s statement, TMZ reported that Kanye was “refusing” to see her.

But days later, the 43-year-old seemed to change his tune as he posted a public apology to Kim on Twitter.

He wrote: “I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter.”

“I did not cover her like she has covered me.To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me,” he added.

Kanye and Kim tied the knot back in 2014, and the couple share four kids – North, 7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 14 months.
