Justin Bieber launches cannabis line named after his hit song ‘Peaches’

Justin Bieber has entered the cannabis industry.

The 27-year-old has partnered with Los Angeles-based company Palms to create a line of pre-rolled joints called ‘Peaches’ – named after his hit song.

In the track, the Canadian star sings: “I got my peaches out in Georgia (Oh, yeah, s***), I get my weed from California (That’s that s***).”

The seven-joint packs that will initially only be on sale in California, where recreational marijuana use is legal for over-21s.

In a statement, Justin said: “I’m a fan of Palms and what they are doing by making cannabis approachable and helping to destigmatise it – especially for the many people who find it helpful for their mental health.”

“I wanted to make sure that I was doing something with them that felt genuine, and Peaches felt like a good place to start.”

A portion of proceeds from Justin’s Peaches joints will go to support Veterans Walk and Talk, a veteran group that advocates for medicinal cannabis and psychedelic use; the Last Prisoners Project, a nonprofit organization geared toward freeing those incarcerated due to marijuana possession; and the Eaze Momentum Accelerator, which supports underrepresented groups in the cannabis industry.

Speaking to Vogue, Justin said: “Weed was something that I felt people tried to make me feel bad for enjoying. But I’ve now found a place in my life for weed products that have been beneficial in my human experience.”
