Justin Bieber turned 24 yesterday and while it’s an unassuming turn of age for most, this pop super star’s celebrations didn’t conform to the norm.
Selena Gomez, his childhood sweetheart with whom he recently reunited, shared a sweet ‘gram wishing him a great day.
“March 1, 1994 someone I know that happens to be super cool was born. Boom.”
The post features a photo of her holding a Polaroid of what appears to be a side profile shot of Biebs with a microphone in his hand, and has racked up a cool 7 million likes so far.
A source revealed to E! that he brought his birthday bash to Los Angeles where he met up with mates for lunch at the London West Hollywood Hotel.
The fact that Justin has become increasingly religious recently may be a contributing factor to his PG partying.
After lunch limos brought the singer and his entourage to MB2 Raceway in Sylmar, California where they enjoyed an afternoon of go-kart racing.
“Justin couldn’t wait to hit the race track and let his adrenaline junkie side come out right away. He was very into it and was going faster than anyone,” an eyewitness shared with E! News. He loved the challenge of racing his friends and he got very competitive about it. He was hooting and hollering having a great time. They all had a fun time and spent several hours at the track before leaving in limos and heading toward Beverly Hills.”
Pattie Mallette, Justin’s mom who recently got badly injured on holidays with him, joined the fun.
“When they arrived at the race track, Justin was greeted by his mom who was waiting for him at the entrance. He was so happy to see his mom and gave her a big tight hug,” our eyewitness shared. “Everyone walked inside hugging with their arms around one another. It seemed like a very tight group that was happy to have an afternoon of fun together.”
