Jussie Smollett’s ‘Empire scenes reduced’ following attack

The actor has been working on the show since 2014

Jussie Smollett’s scenes in Empire have reportedly been reduced following his attack.

The actor was attacked by two men last month and over the weekend Jussie’s attorneys were forced to deny claims that he had reportedly been involved in the planning of his own attack.

According to TMZ the 36-year-old’s scenes in hit show, Empire, have now been reduced.

Production sources told the online publication that Jussie was originally set to star in nine scenes and a musical number for the second last episode of the series.

They have alleged that the actor’s nine scenes have been reduced to five and that the musical segment has been removed, while he will also be joined by a number of other cast mates for his remaining four scenes.

The reports come after Chief Communications Officer of the Chicago Police Department, Anthony Guglielmi, released a statement in which he said that “the trajectory of the investigation” had shifted after questioning and releasing two men over the attack.
