Jordyn Woods has revealed cruel trolls called her “fat” when she was just 13-year-old, after she was papped with her family friend Willow Smith.
The 22-year-old has launched her own YouTube channel, and in her first video, Jordyn recalled the first time she was ever photographed by paparazzi back in 2010.
Jordyn was with her friend Willow, Will Smith’s daughter, at The Grove in West Hollywood at the time.
Clearly nervous to show the paparazzi photo, Jordyn said: “I don’t know why I thought it was a good idea to wear this. This outfit… this is a big no.”
When the photo was published by media outlets, Jordyn’s weight was ridiculed online.
She said: “I remember reading the comments and tears just started coming out of my eyes.
“I couldn’t understand how grown people could sit and pick apart a young girl. [It] completely broke me… I knew I was unhappy with the way that I looked.”
But, Jordyn said that moment pushed her to be the confident person she is today, as she turned to self help books, and recognised her true worth.
She said: “You’re given this body for a reason. I realized that my purpose is much bigger than me.”
