John Mayer has been granted a temporary restraining order against an obsessed fan.

According to court documents obtained by E! News, Ryan Jeremy Knight, 39, started terrorising John and members of his team back in March.

The singer has claimed that Knight has harassed and stalked him, and made violent threats towards him and his team on social media.

Knight allegedly told John, “I’ve put many a jew in the hospital,” and also referenced some infamous murderers like Ted Bundy and Mark David Chapman.

The 39-year-old also showed up to John’s show in North Carolina on June 28, but he was escorted out of the venue after he was found by security.

After John said that Knight’s actions have caused him to “suffer substantial emotional duress”, a judge ordered Knight to stay 100 feet away from the singer and his home.
