John Legend is getting swimming lessons from Olympic champion, Ryan Lochte.
In January the father-of-two announced that he was starting swimming lessons and tweeted: “I can’t really swim. Today I took my first swim lesson since I was like 5. My dad learned in his 60’s so I feel like I’m ahead of schedule.”
The singer has been sharing various videos of his progress on social media and got a special lesson from Ryan earlier this week.
The 12-time Olympic medallist joked that he was preparing John for the 2020 games, as he posted a video of them swimming on Instagram and wrote: “Not a bad way to start my week. Swimming with @johnlegend giving him some swim tips and getting him ready for 2020 Olympics haha!”
John has been getting lessons from KidSwim founder, Lisa Cook since the start of the year and she has praised the singer for his progress throughout the weeks.
