Jessica Alba and Gwyneth Paltrow appear on Apple’s very first reality show, and it’s called Planet Of The Apps.
Planet Of The Apps is a tech-centric new show featuring celebrity advisers Gwyneth Paltrow, will.i.am, Jessica Alba and Gary Vaynerchuk.
The show sees app developers pitching their app in 60 seconds. If the celebs are interested, the developer gets a chance for more pitching time.
After the first step, the judges can express their interest in partnering with the developer to create the app.
Then like in Dragons’ Den, if two or more advisers are interested in partnering, the developer gets to pick who they want to work with.
Next up, the adviser will help the developer to create, market and test the app, before developers get the chance to pitch in front of Lightspeed Venture Partners.
Whoever has the most ingenious idea for a new app will receive $10 million in funding as well as getting their app promoted on the App Store as a featured app.
