The reality star pleaded guilty to tax evasion last year

Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino has shared an emotional video of his ‘final moments before prison.’

The Jersey Shore star pleaded guilty to tax evasion last January, and turned himself into the Federal Correctional Institution last week.

The Sorrentino’s uploaded the video to their Youtube Channel yesterday, which showed his drive to prison with his new wife, Lauren Sorrentino.

In the short video, Mike expressed his relief, he said: “Today, I have the sense of just being happy to put this behind me”, and admitted that he wanted to, “handle it like a man, with grace and class.”

The 36-year-old has been sentenced to eight months in prison, and revealed that he would make the most of his time as he plans to “work out every day, get in great shape and get ready to come back and film season three of Jersey Shore Family Vacation.”

In the emotional video, the reality star kissed his wife goodbye before he stepped out of the car.

After two days in prison, the Jersey Shore star’s wife updated his followers about how Mike was doing.

She tweeted, “Hi Everyone, it’s Lauren. Mike would like to thank all of his fans worldwide for the unbelievable outpouring of love & support. We speak everyday & he’s doing great. He’s received thousands of letters, he won’t be able to respond to everyone but wanted to express his gratitude.”
