Mike Sorrentino has been hanging out with Fyre Festival’s Billy McFarland in prison, according to his Jersey Shore co-stars.
The reality star is currently serving an eight month prison sentence for tax evasion at the Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, New York – where Fyre Festival founder Billy McFarland is serving a six year sentence for wire fraud.
Speaking on SiriusXM’S The Jenny McCarthy Show, Mike’s co-stars Vinny Guadagnino and DJ Pauly D revealed that he’s doing “so good” behind bars, and that he’s made some interesting friends.
The pair confirmed that Mike has gotten friendly with “the guy from the Fyre Festival,” and they’ve encouraged him to “get as much information as possible” about the failed event.
Vinny said Mike is also “in there with the guy that leaked Jennifer Lawrence’s nudes”.
Of course, Vinny is talking about hacker George Garofano, who was sentenced to eight months in prison back in August 2018.
