Jennifer Aniston has opened up about her feud with her late mother.
The Friends actress had a very public battle with her mum since finding fame, and now has opened up about their conflict.
Jen, 49, spoke about her relationship with mum Nancy Dow, saying they stayed estranged right up until Nancy’s death in 2016.
Jennifer will next play a mother obsessed with beauty and told The Sunday Telegraph the character mirrors her own mother in ways.
“She was a model and she was all about presentation and what she looked like and what I looked like,” she admitted.
“I did not come out the model child she’s hoped for and it was something that really resonated with me,” she said.
“This little girl just wanting to be loved by a mum that was too occupied with things that didn’t quite matter,” she continued.
Jennifer stopped speaking to Nancy completely after her mother published a book, ‘From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir’, back in 1999.
Her mum wasn’t even invited to her wedding to Brad Pitt back in 2000, but they did reconcile for a while after she and Brad split.
