Jennifer Aniston has said that she is not heartbroken after her split from husband, Justin Theroux, in 2017.
The actress did her first in-depth interview since her divorce and told InStyle that she has learned to laugh at what tabloids say about her.
“For the most part I can sit back and laugh at the ridiculous headlines because they have gotten more and more absurd,” Jennifer told the magazine.
When asked what the biggest misconceptions about the her are, she said, “The misconceptions are ‘Jen can’t keep a man,’ and ‘Jen refuses to have a baby because she’s selfish and committed to her career.'”
“Or that I’m sad and heartbroken. First, with all due respect, I’m not heartbroken.”
“No one knows what’s going on behind closed doors.”
“No one considers how sensitive that might be for my partner and me.”
“They don’t know what I’ve been through medically or emotionally,” the actress continued.
The 49-year-old said that she is still best friends with her ex-husband and looks forward to staying in a caring relationship with the actor.
