Fans everywhere were heartbroken for Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan when they announced their separation last month.
The former couple share Everly, their 4-year-old daughter, and have managed their split extremely amicably so far.
Jenna appeared on her first magazine cover since the break this week and the interview to go with her cover shoot for Vegas magazine saw her fondly recall when she first met Channing back in 2005 on the movie set for Step Up.
“We started out as friends and I would say it was an instant recognition.”

The World of Dance judge continued saying that despite their 8-year marriage coming to an end their bond would remain strong, “Ultimately, no matter what Chan and I are doing, we’re really great friends. I think that will never change, no matter what.”
