Jason Sudeikis has broken his silence about his split from Olivia Wilde.
The couple, who share two children, called off their seven-year engagement in November last year.
Speaking to GQ for their August issue, the 45-year-old admitted he still doesn’t understand why he and Olivia broke up.
He said: “I’ll have a better understanding of why in a year, and an even better one in two, and an even greater one in five.”
“It’ll go from being, you know, a book of my life to becoming a chapter to a paragraph to a line to a word to a doodle. That’s an experience that you either learn from or make excuses about.”
“You take some responsibility for it, hold yourself accountable for what you do, but then also endeavor to learn something beyond the obvious from it.”
Jason has since been linked to former Page 3 model Keeley Hazell, while Olivia has moved on with Harry Styles.
The actress grew close to the One Direction star on the set of upcoming film ‘Don’t Worry, Darling’ and they confirmed their relationship in January.
The couple are currently holidaying in Monte Argentario, Italy and have been seen packing on the PDA in loved up snaps.
