Jason Momoa fell for his wife Lisa Bonet because she ordered a pint of Guinness

The actor REALLY loves Guinness

Jason Momoa appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden over the weekend, and revealed that he fell in love with his wife Lisa Bonet – because she ordered a pint of Guinness when they first met.

The actor, who previously starred in Game of Thrones, is currently promoting the upcoming release of Justice League, in which he plays Aquaman.

Speaking to James, Jason admitted that after meeting at a jazz club in NYC back in 2005, he convinced her to take him home.

“I convinced her to take me home because I was living in a hotel,” he said.

“We went to Cafe 101 and sat down and she ordered a Guinness. And that was it.

“I love Guinness. She ordered Guinness and I ordered grits and the rest is history.”

Jason, 38, and Lisa, 49, finally tied the knot in an intimate celebration last month.

The couple share daughter Lola, 10, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 8 – and Jason is also stepdad to Lisa’s famous daughter, Zoë Kravitz.
