Jada Pinkett Smith has revealed on her Facebook Red Table Talk, that she was previously a sex addict.
The actress was joined by her mother, Will Smith’s sister, and musician August Alsina, as the four discussed addiction.
“My sort of addictions jump, they jump around,” Jada began to explain before confirming, “When I was younger, I definitely think I had a sex addiction of some kind.”
“That everything could be fixed by sex,” she stated, “You know what I’m saying?”
The mother-of-two said she became a gym addict after that.
Jada also admitted she reached rock bottom “once while home alone.”
“I was in the house by myself and I had those two bottles of wine and was going for the third bottle and was like, now hold up, you in this house by yourself going for your third bottle of wine?”
“You might have a problem,” she warned herself.
“So, I went cold turkey,” the 46-year-old said.
“I am a binger and I always have to watch myself and how I can get obsessed with things.”
“It’s not what you’re doing it but why you’re doing it.”
“If you want to have a lot of sex, that’s great, but why are you having all that sex?” she questioned before stating, “That’s what you gotta look at.”
She celebrated her twentieth wedding anniversary with Will Smith last December.
