Jada Pinkett Smith has broken her silence after her husband Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars.
During the awards show on Sunday night, Will stormed onstage and slapped Chris in front of the star-studded audience, after the comedian made a joke about his wife.
Referring to Jada’s buzzcut, Chris said: “Jada, can’t wait for GI Jane 2,” prompting the actress to roll her eyes.

Jada has spoken about her struggles with alopecia, a condition that causes hair loss, and said it is what prompted her to shave her head.
When Will returned to his seat, he shouted at Chris: “Keep my wife’s name out of your f***ing mouth.”
The Men In Black star has since apologised for his actions, and The Academy have launched a formal review.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Jada shared a cryptic quote that read: “This is a season for healing and I’m here for it.”

Jada’s post came hours after Will issued a lengthy apology via a statement shared on Instagram.
The actor wrote: “Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable.”
“Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.”
“I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.”
