Rumours have been swirling about an apparent feud between the Kardashians and Larsa Pippen, ever since fans noticed they’re no longer following each other on Instagram.
Fans made the realisation after Kim’s husband Kanye West called out Larsa, the estranged wife of NBA legend Scottie Pippen, on Twitter earlier this week.
Despite whispers of a feud, insiders have claimed there are “no ill feelings” between the Kardashian sisters and Larsa.
A source told E! News: “The friendship just naturally grew apart over a period of time because life happens. Kim is focused on matters at home—getting Kanye [West] healthy, her four young kids, law school and juggling her businesses.”
“They are just in a different place in their lives and are not as close as they used to be, but have no ill feelings at all and still stay in touch.”
The insider also claimed Kim unfollowed Larsa months ago.
“She unfollowed everyone all together because there were a lot of random accounts,” the source explained.
“She wanted to reset it just to her family and childhood friends. For Kim’s own mental health she wanted to narrow down what was showing up on her feed. There are a lot of people she is still friends with who she doesn’t follow on social media.”
The E! insider also addressed rumours the Kardashians fell out with Larsa over an alleged tryst with Kim’s husband Kanye or Khloe’s ex Tristan Thompson.
The source added: “There is zero drama and nothing inappropriate ever happened between Kanye and Larsa or Larsa and Tristan.”
The news comes after Larsa seemed to address the drama by posting a statement on social media.
She wrote: “I woke up this morning blessed and see that everybody is focused on who I am following and who I am not following on social media.”
“I am focused on my children, my new fitness brand Larsapippenfitness, and my relationships in real life. Praying that everybody finds peace in their own lives and focus on what brings THEM happiness.”
The drama unfolded after Kanye made a number of shocking statements on Twitter in the early hours of Wednesday morning
The 43-year-old said he’s been ‘trying to divorce’ Kim – ever since she met fellow rapper Meek Mill to discuss prison reform in 2018.
Kanye also tweeted Larsa’s name alongside a thinking face emoji, followed by the question: “Should I name more?”
The rapper also slammed his mother-in-law Kris Jenner, and referred to her as ‘Kris Jong-Un’ in the shocking Twitter rant.
After Kanye’s tweets hit headlines, Kim released a statement addressing his behaviour.
In a statement posted on her Instagram Story, Kim acknowledged that her husband is in the middle of a serious bipolar episode, and asked the public to show them “compassion” during such a difficult time.
