Idris Elba has revealed that quarantining himself with his wife after being diagnosed with COVID-19 has been a “test” of their relationship.
Idris’ wife Sabrina has also contracted the virus, after choosing to join her husband in his quarantine rather than distancing herself from him.
The couple shared a video detailing their time in isolation.
Taking to Instagram live with his wife, the actor said:
“So far I am feeling okay. It’s about keeping my mental health…”
“I am just trying to keep my mind clear. We have just been peaceful.”
“Although we did have one fight yesterday,” he admitted.
“I had to go into another room. This is a definite test of your relationship and your humanity.”
He explained that at this stage of his illness, he is no longer displaying symptoms.
His wife yesterday revealed that she had contracted the virus during a chat with Oprah Winfrey.
