Cooper Hefner and Scarlett Byrne have welcomed their first child together.
The son of Hugh Hefner took to Instagram on Monday night to share the news, posting photos with his Harry Potter star wife and their newborn baby.
“At 5:23pm this afternoon Scarlett and I welcomed our daughter Betsy Rose Hefner into the world,” he wrote.
“We are overwhelmed with gratitude, love and joy,” he added.
The 28-year-old spoke with People Magazine, where he shared that his little “treasure” weighed 6 lbs., 5 oz. – and that he and his wife “filled with such joy — we couldn’t be happier.”
“We look forward to being home and spending time together as a family in the days and weeks ahead,” he added.
The couple tied the knot in November 2019, sharing the news of their pregnancy in March this year.
Announcing the news on social media at the time, Cooper shared a photo of his wife smiling while sitting in a field of grass with her hands placed below her baby bump.
“Scarlett and I have been blessed with wonderful news we are ecstatic to share. This summer we will be welcoming a new member to the family,” he wrote.
“The two of us could not be happier as we wait for the arrival of our little one.”
Sharing the same photo, Scarlett (who plays Pansy Parkinson in the Harry Potter franchise) wrote: “Cooper and I are delighted to share that we have a little one on the way. Our hearts are filled with gratitude and joy, and the two of us can’t wait to meet the newest little Hefner.”
