British singer Rita Ora has been announced as the host of this year’s MTV European Music Awards.
The event will return to London for the first time in over 20 years.
The 26-year-old Hot Right Now singer will host the show on November 12 at the SSE Arena in Wembley.
Fans of the Kosovo-born star can expect a performance of her new music at the show, after recently embarking on her music comeback releasing her first single in two years – ‘Your Song’ back in May.
Rita told the Press Association that hosting the show “means a lot to me, I’ve always watched it, since I was younger”.
“I’ve always kind of had memories from the MTV EMAs and I’m from Europe!”
The full list of presenters and performers for the MTV EMAs will be announced over the next few weeks.
