Gerard Butler has split from his girlfriend Morgan Brown, despite looking seriously loved-up just last month.
The Scottish actor reportedly whisked Morgan away on a “make or break” trip to Mexico in July – but sadly they’ve decided to call it quits.
A pal told The Sun, “Gerry just isn’t ready to settle down. He thought Morgan might have been the right person at the right time but it wasn’t to be. He’s told his friends he just couldn’t commit. Gerry loves Morgan but it wasn’t working.
“He has been away filming and he thought it would be better if they went their separate ways. They went away to Mexico to see if it would work out but they both saw it would be best they moved on.

“Some of Gerry’s friends have given up on thinking he would ever settle down. He is having too much fun,” they added.
The pair were first linked around two and a half years ago, and were regularly spotted locking lips in public.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Gerard and Morgan had split, and the interior designer was spotted having coffee with Liev Schreiber, who recently split from Naomi Watts, shortly after.
However, Gerard and Morgan dispelled rumours after the were pictured on a night out in LA together.
The actor, who divides his time between California and Glasgow, has a reputation as a ladies’ man, and has previously been linked to Jessica Biel and Jennifer Aniston.
